Build interior stairs to replace spiral staircase OR fix existing spiral staircase

We're currently renovating a home that has a spiral staircase. We have stripped back the spiral staircase to paint around it and are deciding whether to rebuild the spiral staircase, which is currently in use but very rickety and unsafe, or whether to build new staright stairs.
