Asphalt protection is an exciting new cost effective concept in the domestic asphalt market.

For years large roading and infrastructure companies, including district and city councils have protected their asphalt surfaces by applying a molten rubberised bitumen to any crack or joint in the surface.

As asphalt ages it oxidises and weakens, small cracks appear. These cracks allow water into the sub-base. Over time traffic flow and winter freeze/thaw conditions cause these cracks to get bigger ultimately leading to a pothole forming.

The application of a rubberised bitumen 'Bandage' prevents water getting into any crack or joint.

Small cracks become big expensive problems in a very short time.

Asphalt Bandaging can be applied at a fraction of the cost of replacing or patching asphalt surfaces.
