original call was due to the cross flowing of the taps. this would have caused the crox fittings to leak and also the valve to leak, i would assume that this would have been picked up on the first visit. The crox fittings to a plumber are a dead giveaway there is cross flow occuring, When you tightened them this would have caused more pressure to have backflowed thus stressing the shower mixer, had you discovered the issue on the first call the other two would not have been neccesary.

Jonathan from jg plumbing replied promptly to my job request. He texted his mobile number for contact which was appreciated. I ended up finding and repairing the leak myself, so did not need a plumber after all. However, if the job had been more complex, I would have used jg plumbing to do the repairs. I would recommend.
