I'm a carpenter/builder from the States and have been building and renovating houses part time since I was 15, and full time after university. I'm 27 now.
My experience started with framing (I'm now familiar with the specifics of New Zealand framing requirements), exterior siding and trim, roofing, and deck building. As I got older, I took up interior trim carpentry, hanging and fixing doors and windows, building custom shelving (freestanding and built-in) and painting. I'd say that I much more enjoy and excel in the latter. I've also got experience in replacing and repairing soffit and fascia board (exterior wood under the eaves of the roof).
When it comes to my work, I pay close attention to detail and can complete a job on time.
