We recently had our fence and retaining wall completed, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. The team was professional, hardworking, and kept us updated throughout the project, even with some bad weather delays. The quality of the workmanship is excellent, and the finished fence looks fantastic. They were respectful of both our property and the neighbouring property and made sure everything was completed to a high standard. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for fencing or retaining wall work. Thank you for a great job!

Matt, Chris, Rusty and the team are true blue great people to deal with. I called Matt up to see if he could help with a small job by his standards with a pretty minimal budget, and he was so honest with me about what could be achieved - and had excellent recommendations for what would be the best use of my limited funds. I really appreciated his honesty, excellent knowledge and expertise and willingness to do a job that far exceeded my expectations. Rusty is a superb digger operator - and a lovely guy, I was so pleased with his work - and grateful for his advice also. We’ve dealt with many different contractors and operators over the years - but hands down- I’d recommend Kiwi excavations again and again and look forward to when I have a better budget and can get them out to do some more work. Thanks team you guys are honestly a breath of fresh air and amazing at what you do! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Recently had some building and landscaping work done. While parts of the job came together well, there were also some disappointing aspects. Communication was inconsistent, and some of our decisions and requests were overlooked. Unfortunately, interactions with the owner were at times unprofessional and came across as disrespectful, which made the process more stressful than it needed to be. There were positives in the final result, but the overall experience could have been handled much better. Reply: Hi Yol B, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We appreciate you acknowledging the parts of the project that you were happy with, and we’re sorry to hear that other aspects of the experience were frustrating for you. As the project progressed, the scope of works changed a number of times and there were ongoing discussions around costs and construction methods. Some of the requests made were outside of what would normally be considered standard practice, so we felt it was important to clearly explain potential risks and implications before proceeding. This was never intended to be dismissive, but rather part of our responsibility to ensure decisions were fully understood and documented to avoid issues for everyone later on. We acknowledge that these conversations may at times have felt difficult or stressful, and for that we apologise. Our intention throughout was to complete the work to the best possible standard while balancing client requests, practical considerations, and our professional obligations. We genuinely appreciate the opportunity to have completed the work and thank you again for the feedback, as it helps us continue improving our communication and processes moving forward.

Outstanding fence. They were professional, communicative, and completed the fence exactly on time. The craftsmanship was amazing sturdy, clean, and exactly as requested. I appreciated their attention to detail and willingness to answer all my questions. I’d give them a 5-star rating and highly recommend them to anyone needing a quality fence.
