About

My name is Sol and I am the founder of Green Coast Handyman based in Whangarei.

I have gained experience in different trades while living in different countries overseas. I’ve lived in Italy most of my life and worked as a painter and tile installer, and also in Canada for 2 years. I first moved to Christchurch in 2012 until 2019, and I worked as painter and water proofer for 12 years, painting, plastering and waterproofing dairy factories for Fonterra, Synlait, Open Country etc. all over NZ Christchurch, Oamaru, Invercargill, Hokitika, Hamilton and Auckland.

Green Coast Handyman provides reliable, high-quality handyman and maintenance services for residential and light commercial properties. We specialise in general repairs, property maintenance, small renovations, and finishing work, always with a focus on quality craftsmanship and clear communication. As a solo trader I offer these services such as floor and wall tile installation, certified waterproofing, gib stopping and painting for commercial and residential projects.

With a practical, problem-solving approach, we work closely with homeowners, landlords, and builders to complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard. Whether it’s ongoing maintenance, one-off repairs, or subcontracting support, Green Coast Handyman takes pride in delivering dependable results you can trust.

We are committed to honest pricing, punctual service, and leaving every site clean and tidy.
