Sturdy Structures is a New Zealand–owned structural engineering consultancy, led by a Chartered Professional Engineer. We deliver smart, value-driven, and buildable solutions for residential, light-commercial, and industrial projects nationwide.
What we do
Producer statements — PS1 (design), PS2 (peer review), PS4 (construction monitoring) — Auckland Council Registered PSA.
Residential — beams & openings, bracing layouts, retaining walls, decks, pole sheds, garages, sleepouts, cabins/modular units, additions & alterations
Foundations & slabs — new builds and extensions; liquefaction solutions and tension piles where required
Swimming pools — pool shell design, retaining/interface details, consent documentation
Industrial / light commercial — warehouses and commercial sheds; canopies, mezzanines, portal frames, equipment supports, and other ancillary buildings
Seismic & assessments — ISA/DSA, practical strengthening options and concept schemes
Temporary works — scaffold design, propping/shoring, falsework/formwork, crane pads & access platforms, excavation support
Peer review — independent reviews to satisfy council or lender requirements
