I am currently working as a Senior Project Engineer at a local council for the last 8 years, following 12 years in the Civil Industry from being on the ground to managing worksites. I am now looking to share my expertise in helping relatively new (or even established looking to branch out more) expand their footprint in the industry or even just look to tidy up processes from Q&A , H&S etc.
In my current role I have a very good handle on both National and Local processes, requirements and in general what businesses require to tidy up and go that next step or just to get everything in line for future tenders.
At this stage I can assist in the following;
Non price attribute evaluation, guidance and help with tender submissions – I find this is a big part of a tender and many areas Contractors lack in putting forward. Note that I am an NZTA qualified Tender Assessor also.
General project management / overseeing – specialising in Roading and 3 Waters.
Tidying / setting up processes to be more in line with current regulations – H&S, QA, General processes.
General business advice and start up documentation, helping Conctractors gain pre-qualifications, correct qualifications for certain projects local body requirements to work etc.
Assisting in pricing / site visits and collaboration with clients / customers.
General design requirements i.e Design/build , 3D design, 2D design specialising in Civil 3D
