Exemplary work from Phil who replaced the cladding and framing of a water damaged wall. Phil was always on time, great at communicating, and gave a competitive and accurate estimate for the work. He gave us a good idea about what to expect about the parts of the work that are hard to foresee, and gave great advice about options and weatherproofing in general. Would recommend any time for home repairs.

Philipp replaced some soffits which had come out of their grooves and added better fixings. He arranged the site inspection promptly and inspected the situation carefully. He communicated really well throughout the job and was friendly and very easy to deal with. The completed work is very neat and solid. It was an easy process and we're very pleased with the result. We would definitely recommend him and use him again.

Phil at 1st Class Construction has done several jobs for me now, including building a fence and replacing an old wooden external door with an new aluminum one. Each time he has been totally reliable, professional and communicated with me clearly about the costs and parameters of each job. It is such a relief to find an honest and meticulous builder whom I can trust to do the right thing!
