My process is designed to reduce uncertainty. You’ll gain a clear understanding of layout, levels, materials, and planting direction, tailored to how your household actually uses the space, your budget, and the level of maintenance you want.

Design services include:

One-off design sessions
A focused, 3hr on-site session that gives you clear direction and practical advice. Ideal if you want to sense-check ideas, resolve problem areas, or get confident before committing to construction. You receive a simple design plan and email summarising everything discussed on site.

Full landscape designs (optional 3D modelling)
A considered, end-to-end design for clients who want everything properly resolved before building. This is for projects where layout, levels, circulation, and the relationship between spaces really matter. The design process helps you make decisions early, see how the garden will function as a whole, and give your builder a clear, coordinated plan to price and build from.

Planting plans
Straightforward, site-specific planting plans that suit the local climate and your maintenance preferences, with an emphasis on longevity and structure rather than high-maintenance planting.

All designs are prepared with buildability in mind, so they’re clear, realistic, and useful on site — not just attractive on paper.

Acorn Landscape Design creates refined, timeless outdoor spaces that balance natural beauty with practical, low-maintenance living.
