Hi there, my name is Karl and I have been 'on the tools' most of my life, starting when my grandad Clifford began teaching me woodwork in his garage as a child.
As a young man I worked on numerous building sites and have spread my labour across multiple trades, from bricklayers to concreters, landscapers to roofers, cabinet fitters to painter decorators.
I was a professional tiler by trade for 8 years before coming to New Zealand 6 years ago.
I had been working alongside traditional British tradesmen, specialising in traditional 'oldy worldy' methods and techniques.
My skills are varied to include not just tiling, but several types of flooring, some landscaping, sign painting, cabinetry and framework + I'm handy for lots of those 'in-between' jobs that don't seem to fall under any particular trade.
My integrity is unshakable, I will only undertake jobs that I know I can do well, I pride myself on my communication, openness, planning and attention to detail.
We can talk through whatever job you need doing to make sure we share a vision of the finished result.
Don't buy your materials until we have spoken as I may be able to save you some money using my trade accounts.
