We engaged Rusty’s services because of his excellent 5-star reviews. Rusty himself is responsive, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. However, for a slightly more complicated job, he didn’t have all the necessary equipment and therefore had to use subcontractors. Unfortunately, when things went wrong and the subcontractors were unwilling to rectify the problem, there was very little Rusty could do. This was disappointing, particularly because we had engaged him based on his strong reputation. An important piece of advice: Before engaging any drainage service, check whether they provide a warranty or guarantee, whether the warranty covers work carried out by subcontractors, and whether they use CCTV inspection after completing an unblocking job as part of their service—and, importantly, whether this is included free of charge. A blockage may be cleared, but without a CCTV inspection, you may not know whether the underlying problem has actually been resolved.
