Reroofing for colour steel roof 170sqm

Really happy with the work Yuri and the team have done on our roof. Great quality, excellent care and the team took their time to ensure the roof is done well and correctly.

Re-roof and spouting

We were given a start date and so our tenant was waiting for workman who did not turn up, as we had not been notified that there was a delay of 3 days. Lack of communication by the subcontractors was disappointing as we could not let our Tenant know in advance.

Skylight Window Install

I don't think I have had a more positive experience with a Tradie ever. Skylight quote was very competitive, Yuri was very competent and friendly, had lots of good ideas. Job was done on time, done quickly and excellent workmanship from the builder. Afterwards, the final invoice was lower than the original quote as the job was easier than they originally thought! I have never had that before. Good job guys, I will definitely recommend RMS to friends and colleagues.

Skylight install

It took a reminder text before he got back to me..he said would arrive late afternoon..finally rang at around 6 saying could be there arnd 7 pm..looked at job .started to say lead flashing on adjacent chimney would have to go as it would react with the iron and corrode.by iron he meant galvanised iron.when i pointed out that that was porkies.that it was the case with zincalume and lead ,not galvanised iron and lead .i knew this from previous roofing exp.experience ..he wanted more exp...lol

Possible leaky roof

Yuri was quick to respond to us and came out reasonably quickly to assess, however we felt that he wasn't interested in fixing the roof and just wanted to sell us a new roof. We have since engaged another professional roofer who said the roof is in good condition and recommended repair. After the repair we were told the roof should last another 10 years.

Skylight repair or replacement quote

2 new skylights fitted within a couple of days. These were Velux units to replace similar units that were about 20 years old. I would say the quality of the new units are not as good as the ones replaced so I’m sceptical these will last as long. In hindsight sight perhaps should have explored Adlux units. Quote doesn’t include any interior plastering so be sure to consider this when reviewing quotes. Communication with Yuri was good and the work was completed within agreed time frames.
