January 2026 - Finishing garage and attic

Other (Building) Kelburn, Wellington

5.0

Over the last 10 years I have completed 4 large building projects (new builds, renovations, retaining walls - all requiring building consent) and worked in that time with about 10 different builders & building companies. Kingsbury & Veitch were by far the best: the detail in every aspect of their work, the superb (and unusual) knowledge of the building code, the reliability in showing up and finally the flexibility to adapt to unforeseen circumstances. I very much enjoyed working with them.

Remove internal wall and other

Home Extensions & Alterations Lower Hutt, Hutt Valley

5.0

Can not recommend these guys enough - I would give them a 6 if I could, because they completed the job ahead of schedule and the cost was very reasonable. David is meticulous in his work, and very patient with a newbie to having any building work done. I've already had several comments on the quality of the work, and other tradies asking for David's contact details so they can use them, too.

Install new external bay window

New Timber Windows & Doors Hataitai, Wellington

Fantastic job—very happy with our new window! As expected with an older home, there were some unforeseen renovation challenges, but the professional team handled them expertly, ensuring the window was installed to a high standard. Communication was excellent throughout, and the team was punctual and showed great care in their work. Highly recommended!
