I'd just like to comment on the wonderful service we received from Hiko Electrical. While visiting NZ, in Tauranga my purpose was to see what my ageing mother needed done on her house. There were some lights triggering the rest of the lights to go off and after replacing the bulbs realised we needed an electrician. Hiko Electrical was recommened to us through my mother's carer and so we used them. The company was very accomodating and the electrician (Hamu) who was sent was very polite and helpful. I only met him once before going back to Australia but I felt that any I could leave my mum in good hands with him and the company. I have had further work done for my mum while back in Australia and my mum has been so grateful and has commented on how lovely the young man Hamu was. I would definitely contact this company again for further jobs. Also, they were very accomodating through emails in paying for the jobs. I was a bit worried about international payments, but they helped so much and all was done quickly. I was grateful for the admin staff who kept in touch with me and answered my emails prompting. I used the Hiko team recently to hang a new chandelier in my home. It was a challenging job, as it was hung in a difficult location (in a high stairwell). Ben from Hiko did a great job and made it all look easy! He was very helpful and accommodating to help get it perfectly placed and installed. Nothing was a problem. These guys are my “go to” sparkies for all my residential and commercial work. I recently had their girl Ben Mellow do work on a commercial unit for me. He was Fast, efficient and did quality work. Their charges are always reasonable, the guys are fast and reliable and it’s always excellent workmanship. I can highly recommend them.
