He turned up on time and then spent 4 hours trying to affix a curtain rail. Made a big hole in the wall, bogged it and then walked out blaming me for having the wrong curtain rail. He has left a huge mess and a curtain rail that hasn't been installed properly and can't be used. None of the other jobs were even looked at before he grabbed his bag and left. He did return my deposit but wanted to charge me for the time he had spent here. I would not recommend this person.

Replace rotten ply weather boards

Ian did the job for reasonable cost. He turns up and assesses and estimates the work; so no additional sales costs from others that quoted. His price did go up a little after I accepted the quote but put it down to a genuine error. He didn't quite match the waterboards that he took away to match however he did the job reasonably quickly and did a couple of extra things like a tap that wasn't under the original quote. Generally happy.
