I had the good fortune of being introduced to Brent while preparing for a major renovation. I can’t speak highly enough of Brent. Apart from his eye for detail and tremendous knowledge of the consent process, his background as a builder was a huge asset in coming up with some cost effective solutions to our open plan vision. Brent was also great when communication with other professionals was required. I have no hesitation recommending Brent. Brent's work has been excellent and his advice during the long process with other tradies and the council has been invaluable. He is easy to work with and responds quickly to emails and text messages. I am very happy with his workmanship and would happily recommend him. He was accurate in his estimates regarding the cost of the work and it has worked out to be less than I thought it would be. We really enjoyed working with Brent throughout our project. It was for a new deck extension. Brent helped facilitate all communication & documentation with Council and involved other contractors as required for Engineering etc. Brent also has contacts that can support you and your project all the way from Design through to actual build and project management through to consenting. All with great communication and clarity around pricing etc. Definitely recommend giving Brent a call for a chat and some pragmatic advice. Cheers Ben. Reef Architectural Design were tasked with drawing the plans for my home. Brent worked with myself and my building company Downright Construction over an extended period of time. He was always available to discuss and adapt the design as the project proressed, at times under pressure and to the unexpected changes that arose. Reef Architecture produced a design that was tailored to the shape and contours of the land and the finished product has been admired by those who have veiwed the house as being fitting to the site and the surrounding environment. It did bring up a few challenges however the finished build looks great and worked very well to take in your wonderful view along Orewa beach. Brent stepped up where others fell short. It was hard slog before I came across Brent to find someone who understood what I wanted to achieve and didn't want to just focus on short cuts with what was a tricky garage conversion with pre existing work and water/drainage issues, made worse by the flooding.
