Our kitchen tap has just started getting more and more stiff. It's now reached a point where sometimes you go to turn it off and it doesn't actually stop the water flow (you need to take a second on/off attempt). The tap is a single fitting for hot/cold, you move the level left/right to change temp and up/down to turn on/off. I'm not sure if the fitting is repairable, or if we might just need a new fitting all together.

Very prompt reply (replied the same Sunday I posted the job). Arranged to send someone around 8:15am Monday morning. Wound up being a little more expensive than the original guess (but to be fair it was a sight-unseen ballpark type guess). Very happy with the job, tap is as good as new (and cost significantly less than a new tap) :-) Thanks,

"The client were friendly and helpfull the quote was provisional as he requested a ball park figure. Our experience on this was reflected in this quote, a bit unfair to give us a 3 for sticking to the quote, as stated above from his info and his request for ballpark quote without seeing the job it was based on normal service with assuming only maybe washer needed. I supplied the material at my trade price with no markup."
