drainage pipe across berm is broken - I think it's runoff - seepage going from driveway to sump. I'd like to get a site visit and quote as to what's required to fix. We have just moved in to a new house in Rolleston. The hot water cylinder is connected to the fireplace (Woodsman) and seems to be quite noisy. It reheats/ makes noise after every time we use hot water which seems very excessive and not very economical. We have a self contained unit which already has water connected with gas heating. We are looking at getting water rerouted, a few pipes taken out and a few installed. We will also need the room plumbed to an existing T intersection into septic tank plumbing (T intersection has been installed for this purpose is currently capped off easily accessable). I am looking for a plumber to come and disconnect the taps from a kitchen sink in a sleep out. This is required to comply with new Selwyn District Council rules which mean that if I have this second sink then I have to pay additional rates. The job is to take the taps off and plug the end of the pipes.Read more
This is a rental property in coalgate, where the plumbed-in shower head has come off. There’s a chance the thread has stripped, or may simply have just come loose. Apparently started spurting to the side, then came off. This is a fixed type head, not a removable head on a slide.Read more
