Rural stormwater connection for new garage

We have building consent for a new garage and need to arrange to connect the stormwater to existing pipe going from house to water tank. Existing stormwater pipe very close to site of new garage. Our builder has suggested we get the stormwater connection in place before the concrete pad goes down. We have a digger so if you tell us where to dig for the new connection we will dig it all ready for you. We just need your expertise and labour for the connection and whatever paperwork the Council require for the building consent signoff. We are rural - about 20 minutes north of Helensville, just past the South Head golf course.
