we are putting in a second hand kitchen. the sink will be moving from one cupboard to the next one over, so the drain and water pipes to the taps will need to be moved to suit. we have a concrete foundation and the drain goes outside through the wall which has summerhill stone cladding. the gib behind the sink cupboard is damp and mouldy, so looks like water is leaking inside the wall. when old kitchen is removed we'll take the gib off the wall and do whatever needs doing, and plumber can do whatever they need to do before the new gib goes on. also the existing taps come through the upstand, but new tap will come up through the sink itself. work is planned for about 4 weeks from now (12/05)

got the work done all on one day, and even waited for a bit while we got the bench top in before he could finish wiring the hob. Nice friendly guy too.
