• Glass Fibre – made from recycled glass and suitable for installing in ceilings, underfloor and in walls. Varying thicknesses are available for use in different parts of your home, with thicker types recommended for the Wellington climate which can get very cold in winter.
• Reflective Foil – only suitable for underfloor insulation in existing homes as it does not meet the current building code for new builds. Use of a professional insulation installer is recommended because of the high risk of injury or damage if fitted incorrectly.

• Expanded Polystyrene  - made in specially manufactured flexible yet rigid sheets, expanded polystyrene can be used to insulate floors, ceilings and walls.
• Loose Fill Insulation – must be installed by insulation professionals as it requires special machinery and knowledge to spray the loose fill. Is mostly used in ceilings but as it can be dusty, it is not recommended to be used in roof spaces where you want to store things.
