Under floor Insulation Installation

EQC repairs have cut access holes in the floor and revealed under floor Polystyrene blocks in part of the house. The sleeping area appears not to have been done. The crawl space is not very deep, from the bottom of the joist to ground is 45cm at one access and 49cm at the other. The time frame for getting it done is restricted as they will recover the floor as part of the repairs.

Underfloor insulation/moisture barrier

Approx 100m² underfloor insulation and/or ground moisture barrier required under a 1920's timber floor. The problem we have come across so far is that the space is less than 400mm high (but not much less, lowest point looks around 300mm) and companies we have approached so far will not go less than that. Anyone willing to have a look?

Expol U/F installation required

I will have purchased 18 bundles of Expol STD U/F INS. 410mm *Orange*. The floorboards will mostly all be lifted as Fletchers are currently busy repiling the house. This should make installation pretty straight forward.
