Had a leaky roof. Needed sheet of iron replaced. Got roofers in, they replaced it. Paid $300. It rained. Leak had moved. Got roofers back in, they say I need a new roof. I soooo don't. Got up, looked at replaced iron. Lead bit under ridgepiece has been munted in process of replacement. Holes in old iron either side where nails have been ripped out. Grrrr. Recently moved into a brand new house and have found the fire place to be extremely noisey, with wind noise and rattling.The fire is Lady Kitchener and we believe the flue is a standard type. The chimney on my wood burner has a loose cowling on top that is half hanging off and rattles in the wind. If its left too much longer its going to fly right off! While you're up there you could give the chimney a clean and service the wood burner too. The roof is high pitch colour steel.
