Door installation

Need a new door to replace existing internal door. Hollow core 1980x810 40mm but may need to be trimmed, as house is older. Just need someone who has done it before and knows how to match up to existing fixtures. Would be great if it could be done this friday (11th of April) afternoon. let me know if you can supply a door, and at what price, if not I'm sure I can find one at bunnings or mitre10. email --- Cheers, Dave.

Front and Back External Doors

The front and back doors need replacing, maybe the frames too. I would like not to source the doors and handles/locks myself and just have the job done if possible. The doors do not need to be fancy, just modern and secure.

Sash windows repair

I have 8 sash windows which have broken ropes and therefore are not working on the pulleys. 2 of them have the top window jammed open by earthquakes and will need to be unjammed.

Replace wooden backdoor and jambs

We have an external door that appears to have been an internal door once. The door needs replacing, as does the door jambs, which have been affected by borer. The door has no eaves above it to keep the rain off it, so we would like a small eave built above the doorway in keeping with the bungalow style of the house.

Fix internal door handles

There are six door handles in our house that don't latch. Four have handles, but no internal mechanism for latching. The other two are needing some adjustment to latch properly. Would love someone who can fix these to all be working properly.

My wife and I are looking at replacing the front and back doors on our 1960's summer hill stone house. They are standard size doors,1980 x 805mm. At this stage, we haven't purchased any replacements, as we're looking for a little advice on this matter too. We know we want something modern. It would be prefrable if the front door had some glass, to let light into the hallway, however, the backdoor has no such requirements, althought it is south facing, so weather is a consideration.

Fitting external French doors

We have a very large window in our lounge, and would like a set of French doors in their place. We are buying salvaged doors that have the correct dimensions, but will obviously need the wall below the window removed as they will start at the floor. As it is such a large window, it's also a small section of wall. The house is concrete block. We need someone to remove the wall and fit the door unit, sealing it against the elements. I'm looking for rough quotes so I can figure out how realistic it...

Replace back door

Our present backdoor is steadily rotting away and we need to get it replaced. So, we would like a new backdoor, complete with dog/cat flap, supplied and installed. It should be either pre-painted or finished such that it can withstand the riogours of the Chch winter. I think that we would also need to get a proper lock installed while we're at it.
