Window Repair / Replacement

In one room there are one or two window sills that have some dried rot inside, the joinery needs replacing and glass needs replacing. According to a company evaluating the house. Happy to have someone come assess the job before taking it on, as this is posted on behalf of my mother and I’m taking her word for what needs to be done - based on what she had been told. Looking for quotes when assessed and go from there.

We have a late 1980's built house with original single glazed aluminium windows and doors. 15 or so years ago we built an extension at the back of the house which was fitted with double glazed aluminium joinery. We'd now like to replace all the original single glazed windows and doors with new double glazed joinery to ideally match the extension. The extension joinery is "First Windows and Doors" branded, as per an attached photo. All attached photo's are of this newer double glazed joinery...
