Floor grind 6mm depth

Bathroom reno. We've got a concrete floor we want to grind down 6mm to lay insulation + heating coils. I've had a go myself with an angle grinder + hired floor grinder, but I didn't get too far. I estimate I'm about halfway to removing the required volume of concrete. See attached photo for the area to be ground. The total area to be ground down 6mm is 3.5 m2.
