We require a centre strip of grass in a driveway to be excavated and replaced with concrete. The area is about 40 metres long and about 40cm wide. It is a flat, easily accessible site. The driveway services 2 flats, individually owned. The soil in this area is fairly sandy.

Over $800.00 to excavateh one strip of soil from between two strips of a concrete drive with a bobcat. No cost incurred for soil disposal as used in garden on site. Many delays resulted in contract being cancelled ( having baby, hospitalisation, weather, unavailability of concrete) and I was the target of much foul- mouthed abuse. Altogether not a very nice experience. And NO! I would not recommend this contractor.
