Fixing cracks and holes in walls and celing

Post earthquake we have a few cracks and a hole in our ceiling. Our watercylinder leaked down the walls into floor and warped the floor and wall. Also check our gas fireplace, eavesdrop has moved. A few cracks outside of house. not a huge amount of work. AH and check the foundations and strength of poles post quakes- as they have severe cracks. Roof may be split/ leaking?

Old metal chimney

I have an old chimney that was used for a gas fire. I have changed to a heatpump and want the chimney removed from the roof and the roofing iron replaced. From inside the house, I have sawn off the chimney to ceiling level and stuffed newspapers into the hole, and removed the chimney proper. What is left is the chimney guard from ceiling level to over the roof.

I am wanting to build a two story extension off our kitchen dinning area to create an new living space. I am looking at a two storey extension with a small mezzanine floor above the main living area. I am looking at a footprint of about 7m x 6m or slightly larger. The mezzanine would be partly in the roof space to bring the height of the building down slightly so as not to look to out of place with the rest of the house.

Chimney removal and roof repair (Earthquake)

We lost 2 of our chimney's in the earthquakes. They have been mostly removed and temporarily covered with tarps. We'd now like the chimneys completely removed below the roofline and new steel placed where damaged. Most of the roof is in excellent condition and is painted steel, similar to colour steel. Would also like touch-up prime and paint for any damaged or scratched areas. Like everyone, we wait on EQC but if pricing is reasonable with a full report of damage including photos we may go...

Earthquake - Repair Bearer

I have a raised timber floor with good access. I just noticed that one of the 75mm x 100mm bearers under the floor is split and would like this repaired promptly. I have just lodged an EQC claim but don't know their requirements for inspections quotes etc. If the estimated repair cost is moderate I will happily pay you for the fix now, even if this means I might miss out on EQC reimbursement. If the estimated repair cost is huge then will have to follow EQC process.

Replace shop front with windows, fix roof
