Concrete path/steps removal

I have a concrete path/steps that need to be broken up and then put into a skip. There are two sets of stairs; 1. A set of stairs running upto a wooden fence as shown, made up of slabs about 1100 long x800 wide x110 deep. They are about 9.5m long and in some places have an edging as shown in the photo. 2. Tidy an external Laundry with a few wall linings, new door and minor electrical.

Have an old laundry attached to the garage and trying to give it a little spruce up. Need to line a few walls with exposed beams and possibly ceiling. Move one light a meter to the left and hang a new door. Place is pretty 'rustic' and this might be like putting lipstick on a pig but it should be a quick and easy job, just outside my skill set.

Toilet running and sink fills up

I have a 5 year old house and 2 toilets are either making noises or running...I cannot figure how to get into the cistern and caroma have not returned my contact. Also one of my bathroom sinks fills up and takes a while to drain, not sure but could be a blockage somewhere. I am pretty handy and frustrates me not to sort this myself but if I cant get into the cistern then so be it. Rachel

The area is approx 60m2 which consists of 1x large room, a kitchen, a corridor, under stairs cupboard, and a small toilet area. Consent advice on EQ damaged building alteration plans

Need advice about a Christchurch earthquake damaged house that was an insurance total loss, for which settlement was made and the house is structurally sound. I want to make alterations (but not EQ repairs) to the house and a consent will be required I expect. I want to know whether a consent would trigger a council requirement to bring the whole building up to code.
