Concrete lounge flooring - Grind & Polish

We are wanting to explore the possibility of getting our lounge and entrance way floor polished. Currently there is carpet there, but we will have this removed if we were to go ahead. The rough area is approx. 28m2. You will see from the photo there is a entranceway landing, and steps up to a main lounge area. It is all concrete underneath. Looking for an idea on pricing.

I’m looking for a gib stopper/plasterer to finish a ceiling that has been replaced with new gib. Dimensions of ceiling: 3.8m x 4.8m. Low ceiling, about 2300mm. Braceline/noiseline gib, 4 butt joins because 13mm braceline max length is 3.6. I’m looking for a plasterer who can make all the joins completely invisible, in all light conditions.

New Garage Quote

We would like to build one out the front in place of the carport and want a rough indication of price before we decide whether to purchase the place or not. I live in Sefton North Canterbury and have a 2 storied house with a leaking roof. The roof is galvanized iron and has rust starting to lift the paint. Some areas are good and some look good but are leaking onto the ceiling. I do a lot of repairs myself but this has got beyond my ability and patience as some holes I cannot find.

Hi, Our front entrance and back door stairs are rotting away and are becoming a unsafe to step/walk on. They are both reasonably low (as can be seen on photographs). We need a builder to replace them as well as the small wooden platform at the back of the house (see photographs). The work will not need building consent (<1m high). A visit a quotation from a builder is needed before we proceed with the agreement and work.
