Small vinyl patch up job - urgent

Vinyl Flooring Glenfield, North Shore

1.0

Avoid Clayton and Cutting Edge Painters at all costs. He agreed to paint my house for a price he suggested (then complained at the price) and it's now 5 weeks on the house still hasn't received a full first coat, there's paint and plaster everywhere from the couple of days he did work and he's nowhere to be seen. He blew the deposit i paid him on everything but materials for the job, he kept coming back for money using his personal family issues as justification. I'm now out $4,000. Avoid him!

Sandringham Quickie 2

Room Painting (interior) Sandringham, Auckland

1.0

As I sit here stewing about the fact that I have had to paint with my fiancé on his one day off, knowing he had to take extra days off work when we have limited funds that we couldn't afford him too; I don't know what I am more annoyed at. The fact that I bought into all the bullshit about the painters personal issues with his ex wife, kids, "abusive and toxic" parents, The red flags I should have picked up on ie his constant excuses or we paid him. Lesson learnt!

Gib stopping bathroom

Interior plastering Stanmore Bay, Rodney

3.0

Can't complain about the quality of work that Clayton did - however we canceled midway and didn't let him finish the job: Each night we came back to a messy and very dusty bathroom. Unusable with a toddler in the house. When engaging him, I was pretty clear that I wanted him to clean up after himself. He wasn't the only one leaving a mess though.
