Custom Tiled Bath – Waterproofing, Precision Falls & 45° Mitred Mosaic Details

Project description

A technically demanding bathroom project featuring a custom-built tiled bath designed to hold water, requiring careful preparation, waterproofing and precise installation throughout.

Extra attention was given to the waterproofing system and detailing around all internal corners, junctions and penetrations to ensure the bath area was properly protected before tiling.

The bath floor was carefully set out and cut to create clean falls toward the waste while maintaining a balanced and symmetrical layout.

The feature mosaic wall required precise joint alignment, with the mosaic carefully cut and 45° mitred around the window reveals to create a clean, continuous finish without bulky trims.

A lot of planning, measuring and detailed cutting went into this one — especially around the bath, window and drainage area — with the focus on both appearance and long-term durability.
