Custom Lockable Hot Water Cylinder Enclosure – Auckland

Project description

Following the theft of exposed copper pipework and fittings from an outdoor hot water cylinder, we were engaged to provide a secure and practical long-term solution for the homeowner.

The project included:

• Coordination with the plumber to reinstate the missing copper pipework and fittings
• Site measure and custom design of a protective enclosure
• Construction of a lockable timber screen enclosure
• Ventilation gaps maintained to ensure safe cylinder operation
• Easy access provided for future servicing and maintenance
• Exterior painting completed to match the existing house colours and improve appearance

The completed enclosure now protects the cylinder and copper pipework from theft and vandalism while blending seamlessly with the home's exterior.
