Ngaio - Split level pine deck w/ staircase and boundary fence

Project description

An ambitious project transforming our clients' back garden into a welcoming and practical family outdoor living space.
After replacing 30m of tired and worn boundary fence on one side of the property and adding a gate to fully enclose the garden on the other side, we constructed a raised deck to give seamless flow from the interior of the house out onto the raised lawn with a generous and welcoming staircase to access it from ground level.
The split level deck with compound angles presented many interesting construction challenges, and we managed to stylishly tie the fence and deck together into a unified whole that will let our clients and their young family make the most of their garden heading into spring and for many years to come.
