This project is situated right on the edge of the cliff facing down into the Heathcote valley. To make it more complex, the wind speed exceeds 65 m/s and the building is thus Specific Engineered Design (SED).
I am working closely with my clients to balance their defined budget while ensuring that the dwelling is unique and a point of interest on the landscape.
It is a steep site with an added constraint of a council main sewer pipe cutting through a decent portion of the site, with setback requirements reducing the available footprint for the house.
Plans are complete and comprise nearly 90 sheets, plus various specifications, manufacturers' product information etc.
While this is not the largest or most complex project I have designed, it is in the most difficult location. Still, an outcome to be proud of.
