Hell Pizza counter

Project description

Team just completed a standout commercial project for Hell Pizza in Hastings, giving their front counter a high‑quality upgrade that lifts both durability and visual impact.
The centrepiece of the project is a solid American timber benchtop, carefully crafted and finished to highlight the natural grain and rich warmth of the wood. Once polished, the timber came to life beautifully, adding a premium feel that immediately draws attention.
Below the benchtop, we installed Meranti ply cladding and skirting, chosen for its strength and clean finish — ideal for a busy food environment. These components were professionally painted in Mirotone Black, 30% gloss, by Freeman Hastings. The glossy black finish creates a bold contrast against the timber, giving the counter a modern, striking presence that fits perfectly with Hell Pizza’s brand.
The final result not only looks impressive but also enhances the customer experience the moment they walk in. The owners were thrilled with how the natural grain shines through and how the overall design elevates the atmosphere of the store.
This project showcases how quality joinery and thoughtful material choices can transform a commercial space into something functional, durable, and visually striking.
