Project description

With a new cabin home in the back garden of this property, after completing a small deck to provide some outdoor living space to its new resident, we were soon invited back to connect that deck to the main property creating a seamless unified area. We had the foresight to base the height of the smaller deck on the floor height of the main property, allowing for step free flow out onto the new deck. The low level floating deck is supported by nurajacks anchored to the concrete patio. The slight angle between the cabin and the main property, along with the steeper angle following the boundary wall created some interesting challenges for constructing the framing, but the end result looks stunning and is absolutely beautiful in the rain!

The job was finished off with a landscaped path to access the cabin, and a small step in the front porch to match
