Perched right above Tiri Road in
Waiheke Island, this house site
came with some serious slope,
and some serious challenges.
With the road directly below,
keeping every bit of material
controlled on site was key. We
kicked things off by drilling 24
holes for the retaining wall and
capping beam, ranging from 5 to
8 metres deep. Once that
structure w a s in place, we cut
below the wall to prep the
foundation platform. Tight access
meant working smart, especially
around the site container, so we
brought in the Steelwrist to dig
the footings with precision where
space was tight. Another solid bit
of groundwork on the island,
tough terrain, but tidy results.
