We first had the pleasure of working with Regan in 2018 when we added and removed a few internal walls and double glazed all windows in our bedrooms. By the time we did phase 2 in 2024 (completed the double glazing, extended for a tv nook, added in an ensuite as well as various built in cupboards, completely redid kitchen and bathroom all whilst living in with kids!) Regan was our obvious first call. He’s a fantastic communicator, reliable and so easy to get on with, and manages and maintains his site to the highest level. He was patient when I felt overwhelmed with choice and gave good solid advice where we weren’t sure about the best way to navigate the unexpected curve balls that renovating an old house can throw. Aside from being highly professional and competent as a builder, Regan has an incredible eye for detail and quiet unassuming way of sharing this talent. So many of his precise and thoughtful finishing touches have become our most favourite things of the build. We all loved having him onsite and can’t wait to have him back to transform our exterior. You can’t go wrong with Village Carpentry.

Regan was the one of the lead carpenters for our 6-month home renovation, and we’re really happy with the result. He was usually the first on site, made sure each stage was completed to a high standard, and paid close attention to detail. It was clear he took pride in his work and wanted to deliver a great finish. He also gave helpful advice on how to get the best outcome. We lived in the house during the renovation, and he kept the site tidy at the end of each day, which made it much easier for us. We’d happily call Regan again for any future building work.
