Hi. I've been an Electrician for over 20 years. I've renovated 3 houses and an apartment for myself as well. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to making things look right/nice. I don't believe in running conduits or duct, when most of the time it's quicker and nicer to hide cables in walls. That's where skilled tradespeople with a wide range of experience can make a real difference. It's not about throwing some power points, or a heat pump in, and just ticking some boxes on the electrical certificate, but also doing a nice tidy aesthetically pleasing job, where the points are straight, the finger marks are wiped off the ceiling, the rubbish is picked up, and the wiring is tidy. In most of cases that I've seen. When the work has been done neatly and with care, then it's usually the safest, and vice versa.
