Remnant Painters & Decorators Ltd has been established for eight years and we work in the greater Wellingto I have over 15 years experience as a qualified tradesman doing many medium to high profile properties aound New Zealand as I was one of the top polytechnic third year apprentices for my year. We are a Wellington based company and have been operating here since 2008 and we are 2015 award winning Registered Master Painters. A fantastic all round job. Excellent workmanship and really appreciated advice regarding some days not being suitable - e.g. dew still about and would affect the paint sticking to the wood. We did a joint review at the end of the job with a couple of minor things identified and addressed immediately. Thoroughly recommend and have since requested some indoor work be performed.

Sean was very prompt in contacting me regarding the job and came out to the house to quote for the job, very friendly in person as well. Did not end up taking up Sean on his offer of services as builder handled painting :)

Sean was very good at communicating and viewing for the quote. However he felt that he could not guarantee the painting work which I thought a little strange as he seemed to know what he was talking about, and other contractors I have had quotes from all had guarantees. I guess he just didn't want the job. UPDATE - maybe there was some confusion between us -we were happy to strip back the boards if necessary, whatever you recommended really.
