COMPLETE CRETE — QUOTE TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Quote validity
This quote is valid for 30 days from its issue date. The price covers only the work, materials and specifications described. The quote will clearly show GST and the total payable.
2. Acceptance and deposit
Written acceptance and a 25% deposit are required before materials are ordered and work is scheduled. The deposit forms part of the total quoted price.
3. Balance and progress payments
The remaining balance is payable within 7 calendar days of completion and receipt of the final invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any progress payments must be specified and agreed before work starts.
4. Included work
Only items expressly listed in the quote are included. Excavation, removal of existing concrete, spoil disposal, base preparation, reinforcement, concrete pumping, drainage, sealing and landscaping are excluded unless specifically included.
5. Changes and unforeseen conditions
Changes to the area, thickness, finish, materials or other specifications must be agreed in writing, including any price or timing adjustment, before the extra work proceeds. If unexpected ground conditions or hidden services are found, affected work may pause while a solution and any additional costs are agreed.
6. Access and site readiness
The customer must provide agreed access and disclose known underground services, hazards and access restrictions. Complete Crete will take reasonable steps to protect the property and locate services before relevant work. Where preparation is supplied by others, we must be satisfied it is suitable before pouring.
7. Consents and approvals
Responsibility for obtaining any required consents, engineering designs or other approvals must be recorded in the quote. Required approvals must be in place before the relevant work starts.
8. Scheduling and weather
Expected start and completion dates will be agreed in writing. Weather, unsafe conditions or supplier disruptions may require reasonable adjustments. We will notify the customer promptly and agree revised timing where necessary.
9. Concrete appearance and performance
Concrete can develop natural colour variations, aggregate variations and shrinkage cracking. Samples are indicative of the finish. These characteristics do not automatically mean the work is defective; concerns will be assessed against the agreed specifications and applicable workmanship standards. This clause does not exclude responsibility for faulty materials or workmanship.
10. Curing and aftercare
Complete Crete will provide instructions for curing, access and ongoing care. The customer must keep people, animals and vehicles off the concrete for the periods advised. Responsibility for damage caused by early use or failure to follow instructions will depend on its cause and applicable law.
11. Cancellation
If the customer cancels for convenience, Complete Crete may charge reasonable, evidenced costs for work completed and unavoidable commitments, without double charging. We will take reasonable steps to minimise those costs. The deposit will be credited against the amount due and any surplus refunded. Statutory cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected.
12. Concerns and disputes
Please notify Complete Crete promptly of any concerns so we can inspect and discuss a remedy. Both parties will first try to resolve disputes directly, then consider mediation or the appropriate tribunal or court. This does not restrict statutory remedies or rights under the Construction Contracts Act --- . Customer rig --- in these terms limits rights or remedies under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, Building Act 2004 or other applicable New Zealand law.
ACCEPTANCE
By accepting this quote in writing, the customer agrees to the described scope, price, payment schedule and these terms, subject to any separately signed contract.
