Our Story
Tried & Tested was started by Jos and Lauren from a desire to provide a quality safety service in the aviation and construction sectors, as well as finding more time to spend with their children and family.

Jos has more than 20 years’ experience in the electrical industry having worked in a variety of different areas. Previous roles include six years of commercial appliance servicing, repairs and certification, and thirteen years of installing, maintaining and certifying power supply equipment in the aviation industry across New Zealand. During this time Jos has also served as Health & Safety officer at work, as well as voluntarily at his children’s school.

Lauren is the other half of the force driving Tried & Tested. With an eye for detail, planning, and presentation, you can be assured that each service will be a positive experience from start to finish. Lauren is also a full-time mum, a talented cake decorator, and has experience volunteering at her children’s school.
