About
Hi, my name is Kathryn (Kat), and I’ve been a bricklayer for 25 years.
After working in all aspects of residential bricklaying, I’ve developed a passion for renovations, repairs, and decorative/feature brickwork. I’ll personally work with you to ensure your job is done right and on time.
With many years of experience repairing earthquake and foundation damage, I have expertise in colour matching mortar, blending old brickwork with new, and recreating patterns and techniques.
No job is too small, from building or fixing a letterbox, steps, or garden wall, to removing and replacing broken bricks, grinding and pointing cracks in mortar, bricking in a new door or window, or anything masonry-related.
For many small jobs, I can go completely cordless, so there’s less disruption to tenants and busy homeowners. I’m happy to consider larger jobs too.
