Backyard Transformation with Turf and Retaining Garden Box

This project involved a comprehensive backyard upgrade, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. The scope of work included installing high-quality artificial turf and constructing a raised garden box with an integrated retaining wall. Key elements of the project: • Turf Installation: A lush, durable artificial turf was laid to create a low-maintenance, visually appealing lawn area. This provides a soft, green surface while ensuring long-term durability and easy upkeep. • Garden Box & Retaining Wall: A custom-built, black-painted timber retaining wall was constructed along the fence line, serving as both structural support and a raised garden bed. This feature maximizes planting space while maintaining a clean, modern design. • Site Preparation & Finishing Touches: The area was leveled, edged, and reinforced with compacted base material to ensure longevity. The surrounding space was tidied up to complement the fresh, landscaped look. Rain Garden Installation for Sustainable Stormwater Management

This project involves the construction of a rain garden designed to manage and treat stormwater runoff efficiently. The rain garden is engineered to capture, filter, and slowly release stormwater, reducing erosion and improving water quality before it enters the natural waterways. The process includes: • Excavation and grading to create the necessary drainage structure. • Installation of geotextile fabric to prevent soil erosion and maintain filtration efficiency. • Placement of engineered soils, gravel layers, and drainage pipes to facilitate water infiltration and purification. • Incorporation of natural rock formations and erosion control matting for added stability and aesthetic integration. • Final landscaping with native vegetation to enhance biodiversity and improve pollutant absorption. Cutting tree and removing stump

A tree located near our house was carefully cut down in sections to ensure safety. After the tree was felled, a 1.5-ton digger was used to remove the stump. The digger skillfully excavated around the stump, cut the roots, and lifted it out, leaving the area clean and level.
