We recently bought a house that gets hit by all day sun, so the summer sun is intense and makes our interior very hot and also glarey. We wanted a solution that would help reduce heat and glare and also protect our interior couches etc from sun damage over time, but not lose our beautiful view outside by having to always have blinds down. We also didn’t want to completely lose the benefits of the winter sun. We have large ranch sliders and large windows on almost every wall of our house, so we had multiple needs. After looking into the options of window tints being a great solution for maintaining views while keeping sun out and protecting your interior, we came across Suntrol and saw how highly regarded Jay and his team were, so we engaged with Jay from Suntrol and he advised a couple of different tint solutions for what we needed. As we wanted to invest in getting our whole house done we needed to find someone who we could trust to do the whole job well. Alongside Jays recommendation and our own research, we went with Llumar N1035 for the whole house to keep as natural look as possible. Needless to say it looks fantastic and we’ve already noticed a difference in the reduction of heat inside the house and drastically reduced glare. We can now enjoy views outside without squinting! Added bonus is there is also extra privacy added with the tints. We know our children can play safely in their sunny bedrooms with the UV protection given by the tints. What we love about the tints is that you can barely notice they are even on the glass, until you open the door and the bright glarey sun hits you!
