We have an unusual styled conservatory that we're in the process of sprucing up. We're cleaning the paint of the windows and intend to repaint the frame, inside an out but have noticed that some of the window putty is old and crumbling so will need to be replaced. Its also a bit "tired" in areas which might also need a freshen up. Also wish to replace the panes of glass in the side door with 4 of the same glass type. A window in our main bedroom, has suffered water damaged and is believed to be rotting where the wood mets. The sills are becoming quite soft and we need to see the costs involved to either replacing the whole window and frames etc or trying to repair the framing that is rotting and soft.
