I regret choosing Vida Landscape and would strongly caution anyone considering them for paving work. Initially, the signs were positive: the team was reliable, turned up when scheduled, and worked hard. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Serious red flags emerged when Luis (the owner) requested full and final payment before the job was completed, citing personal financial difficulties. Against my better judgement, I agreed. What followed was three months of delays, excuses, and unfinished work before the job was finally wrapped up. A major component of the project was 37m² of paving, which I specifically asked to be sealed to achieve a wet-look finish and to protect the pavers. I raised concerns early on that the paving was uneven and pooling water, but these were brushed off. The end result is appalling. • The pavers are visibly uneven • Water pools across the surface • The sealant is blotchy and inconsistent • Grout is smeared across the pavers when dry • The finish looks amateur and completely unprofessional It is impossible to ignore and absolutely not what was promised — nor what would be considered acceptable workmanship. The paving is not fit for purpose. Since raising these issues, I have repeatedly attempted to contact Luis to resolve the situation. He says the company is now in liquidation, leaving me no option but to escalate this to the Disputes Tribunal. I have uploaded photos so you can see the quality of work for yourself. If your project involves paving — or finishing standards matter to you at all — I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

We had vida help us with our garden as it gets water logged and directs a flow of water under the house on rainy days. After spending a few days digging a trench and filling it with rocks and top soil they were done. Not a two days later after some rain water just flowed over the top of their trench and kept flowing under the house. Contacting vida we were told they could come back and look at the issue it being near Christmas we agreed some time in the new year would be fine. Then, silence, completely ghosted. 2 months later multiple messages and emails, nothing. We just happened to pay them a lot of money to dig a trench fill it in and leave. Will have to look for someone else to help solve our issue.

Luis and the team are fantastic and we would highly recommend them. From quoting to completion, they had great communication and really worked with us to bring our vision to life. Our boardwalk/deck area including stairs is beautiful. We are so delighted with the result, the workmanship is excellent and they are very trustworthy and respectful that they are in your home.
