Waikanae Sleepout

The client wanted a sleepout in the back yard to accommodate family and friends when visiting. The design included a covered timber deck so that their visitors could have their own private outdoor space, and a desk in the living area so that it can be used as a work from home space as well.

Te Horo House

The brief for this house on the sand dunes facing Kapiti Island was to maximise the views to the coast and to provide covered outdoor living with a separate guest studio connected to the main house via the deck and covered outdoor areas.

Picton House

This section has views down the Marlborough Sounds so the owner wanted the living areas as high as possible, which worked in well with their need for high ceilings in the garage to accommodate the boat and campervan. The house is to be built in 2 stages: Stage 1 is shown, Stage 2 build will involve removing the external stairs and adding another wing in its place.

Peka Peka Kitchen

The client wanted to increase the size of their kitchen, which involved moving it to other side of the living area and adding 25m2 to the floor plan. The addition was to blend in with the existing and include a scullery/laundry out of sight of the main kitchen area.

Garage Addition

The brief for this project was to add an attached garage to an existing weatherboard house, and create a more modern street facade.
